Om Rasmus Røhling
Røhling’s recent work has dealt with aspects of virtualization and representation within the healthcare sector and how this iconification—trough image-sanitation—relates to art historical- as well as current political issues. In Røhling’s practice, dealing with representation is just as much about withholding and re-coding images and imaginaries, as it is about creating new ones. His works often hijacks existing images, objects or phenomena, as to amplify the audacious and paradoxical way they appear and re-associate them with new meanings.
