Artist Talk with Tyler Coburn

On Monday, October 12th, from 4 pm-5 pm, artist, writer and professor Tyler Coburn will give an artist talk at The Jutland Art Academy.

About Tyler:
Tyler Coburn is an artist, writer, and professor based in New York. He has exhibited and performed at such venues as Centre Pompidou, Paris; Hayward Gallery, London; SculptureCenter, New York; Kunsthalle Wien; Bergen Kunsthall; Kunstverein Munich; Para Site, Hong Kong; Art Sonje Center, Seoul; NTU CCA Singapore; and TOKAS Hongo, Tokyo. His latest exhibition opens at Saalt in Copenhagen on October 16th. Coburn is the author of several books including I’m that angel (self-published, 2012), Richard Roe (Sternberg Press, 2019), Solitary (Sternberg Press and Art Sonje Center, 2022), and Some Monologues (Wendy’s Subway, 2025). His writing has appeared in e-flux journal, e-flux notes, Art-Agenda, ArtReview, ArtReview Asia, Frieze, Mousse, BOMB, LEAP, Metropolis M, Dis, and Rhizome.
